One of the very big problems that can affect a business is cash flow. A major cause of cash flow problems is not getting paid on time under your trading terms and conditions.
The Confederation has set up three services to help you collect your debts to prevent cash flow being a problem.
Overdue Account Stickers
A very simple solution that actually works for many members. We will supply on request as many of our Overdue Account Stickers as you need FREE of charge. You put these stickers on your invoices and it makes those that owe you the money realise that they need to pay you.
Free Debt Recovery on commercial debts up to £3000
The Confederation has negotiated with Direct Route Insight to collect commercial debts of up to £3000 FREE of charge on behalf of members. This is called the Fairway Service. Should there be such as legal costs involved in collecting the debt, then these costs will be required to be paid prior to action taking place, with the majority of costs being reclaimable from the person owing the money.
Debt collection of commercial debts over £3000 and consumer debts
For this type of debt, there is a 5% charge made for all monies collected, which is still a small price to pay to get your money.
By making use of all these three options, the Confederation supplies members with an excellent way of collecting debts and keeping their cash flow under control.
